Installation

Download the GridTree desktop app for macOS or Windows.

GridTree is a desktop app, and you download it from this site — there's no package manager or command-line installer. Builds are available for macOS and Windows.

Open the download section on the home page and pick your platform. You sign in to use GridTree, and the Community edition is free. A 14-day Pro trial is available too — start it through billing, and cancel anytime during the trial if you don't want to continue.

macOS#

Download the .dmg and drag GridTree into your /Applications folder. It's a Universal binary — the same image runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs — and it's signed and notarized by Apple.

Windows#

Download and run the .exe installer. It's code-signed, with Flybring IT AB as the publisher. If Windows SmartScreen appears, confirm the publisher and continue.
